Lane departure warning alerts you that your car is about to veer out of lane and warns you to get back into lane. All forms of lane departure warning employ a low-cost camera mounted in the windshield near the rear view mirror that continuously watches the striped and solid lane markings of the road ahead.
The sensor detects the light reflected back internally by the windshield glass, so if there were more raindrops on the windshield, the less light would be reflected back to the sensor... The sensor itself is mounted on a special bracket behind the vehicle's rearview mirror and wired through the roof.
Condensation Sensor – usually located near the rear view mirror, it detects moisture on the inside of the windshield and automatically adjusts the climate control to reduce the fogging effect.
A “heated wiper park area” is when heating elements are embedded in the glass underneath where the wipers sit when not in use. These heating elements (lines) warm the glass and reduce ice buildup on your windshield wipers. They also assist in the defrosting of the bottom of your glass.
For your convenience, we also offer mobile automotive glass service in Central Missouri. Whether you’re at your home or out grocery shopping, we can come to you. Our trained glass technicians provide the same services on-site as they do in-house, never sacrificing quality for convenience.
Mobile repair is limited to passenger vehicles. We do NOT do mobile repair on heavy equipment, RV's, and Farm/Tractors.
